  • Can I be an Overplayer without a parent or guardian?

If you are under 1 meter tall, you must always be accompanied by an adult. If you are over 1 meter, you can play solo. (As long as the waiver has been completed for them by a parent or guardian over the age of 18).

  • Is my booking transferable / refundable?

All bookings can be moved to another session with no less than 24 hours’ notice.  Tickets are non refundable due to rain, as our Big Top keeps the adventure going in wet weather.

  • Can I use Overplay if I am pregnant?

Sorry, you cannot play if you are pregnant. This is to ensure the safety of the unborn baby and the adult.

  • Can I bring my own food?

Yes, you can bring your own food into the event site, we have picnic tables for you to use, however, no food or drink is permitted into the Overplay play zones.

  • Do you have lockers?

Lockers will be available after May 2025. These wil require £1 to use (but this will be returned to you once you are finished using it).

  • What should I wear?

You’ll need to wear comfortable clothes. No clothing should have sharp points such as belt buckles nor should any sharp objects be bought into the arena (jewellery, key chains etc.). This is for your own health and safety and for the protection of the equipment. Grip socks can be purchased alongside your ticket.

  • Non-slip grip socks must be worn

If you don't have these, they are available on site for a £2 a pair. Our Overplay non-slip grip socks are available in XS, S, M, L and XL.

  • What happens if I arrive late?

If you are late you will lose your booked slot. If we have spaces available you may be allowed to join a later session. This depends on how busy the sessions are and is subject to the discretion of the management.

  • Do I need to book in advance?

We suggest you book online before you arrive to avoid disappointment. Our sessions fill up very quickly, especially during peak times; there is no guarantee we will have spaces available if you arrive without pre-booking but you can purchase tickets on the gate subject to availability

  • How long is a session?

You have a choice of four different sessions, within our regular opening times from 10:00am to around 6:00pm. These sessions are 10:00am - 12:00pm, 12:00pm - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 4:00pm, and 4:00pm - 6:00pm. The session timings include check in and watching the safety video.

  • Are you open if it rains or there is bad weather?

We will be open if it rains. Overplay has two exciting play areas. One is housed in our 12m high big top, protecting visitors from the rain. The second play area is outside and will only be open on dry days. Please note: No refunds will be issued due to rain, as our Big Top keeps the adventure going in any weather. In the event of extremely high winds, the event will be cancelled for your safety. If the event is cancelled, your ticket will be refunded.

  • Can I reserve gate tickets if a session is sold out online?

Unfortunately, we cannot reserve gate tickets or release additional online tickets once a session is sold out. At Overplay, our standard capacity is 120 guests. When our outdoor section is open, we can accommodate more people, but this depends on the weather. In addition to rain, overnight moisture or heavy dew can also make the outdoor area unsafe to open. To ensure conditions are suitable, we wait until just before the session to confirm no rain or dew-related issues before releasing a limited number of gate tickets. These tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we’re unable to hold them for anyone. To secure your place, it is advisable to book in advance online.
